  Very welcoming church. The people here are friendly and generous with their smiling faces. Totally worth driving extra 10 miles.

  I went a few times when I was younger because my brother was enrolled at the school but stopped because he changed schools. I started going again last Saturday and the Church itself is beautiful, the service was very peaceful, and the people attending are very friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a church to attend, I would definitely recommend Our Lady of Las Vegas.

  We have been at this school since pre k. This just happened with my son during his last day of school in the fifth grade at OLLV. His teacher, Meghan Brascia, gave kids plastic trophies and announced end of the school year awards in front of the class. From what I was told all of the awards sounded standard, most athletic, class clown, biggest heart, etc. When she announced my son she said he was getting the most bad behavior award. My son left his last day in the fifth grade in tears over receiving the only negative award in class. He is now questioning if he is a good kid or not. What kind of adult, what kind of teacher would treat a ten year old like this? He doesn't understand why she would do this to him especially in front of the entire class of his peers. (All of this information was confirmed by another student in class.)
  
  She has been targeting him all year. My husband and I had to meet with the principal on multiple occasions throughout the school year to address her harassing, bullying, inappropriate behavior. On every occasion the principal agreed that Ms. Brascia was in the wrong.
  
  We are not returning to OLLV due to her behavior this school year and nothing being done to actually stop it. I worry about other kids being treated in the emotionally abusive way with this woman teaching and no one doing anything to stop it.

  Great church, traditional Catholic church. Knights of Columbus make a awesome ceaser salad and crusted filipa.
