  • Here's what I think of these aspects of Life Baptist Church
    - Teaching - Straight from the Bible and applicable to your life delivered by a great pastor who is not afraid of the truth. It's fun without being watered down and too basic or self help. Expect to read from your Bible and be challenged! Mostly expository preaching but sometimes topical. My knowledge and experience of God's grace has grown dramatically since I joined this church in 2013.
    - Worship Music - Awesome. Upbeat and filled with new and old songs. It's not a performance, but people using their talent to worship God as they lead others. If its too loud for ya, sit near the back :)
    - People - Friendly and welcoming and just lots of good people who want to share their lives with each other and want to see others grow.
    - Kids Stuff - I don't have kids yet but there are TONS of them and they all seem to like it so they must be doing something right! I love how the kids join the adults in the worship service. There are groups for college and youth too.
    - Small groups - there are always new groups starting out or you can join one that's already going. The group we are a part of has been so great for us to learn from and pray with and cry with sometimes. There are groups on all parts of town.
    - Serving - I'm always amazed at how many people serve in the church and the community and the hearts that they have for God. We send out missions teams and help equip and train pastors.

  • I truly believe my family is very blessed to have found Life Baptist Church. Southern Pastor Paul Gotthardt delivers an according to scripture word with gifted talent. I really appreciate how he speaks to you and not at you. The Kids Life staff does an amazing job taking care of our kids and teaching them with creative lessons they love to show off. Matt Phillips and the band bring a service within the service offering heartfelt praise you can feel. Life currently holds 2 casual services on Sunday at 9:00am and 10:45am Come connect with fellow believers and be encouraged by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • I currently attend another church that I consider to be my home, but was asked by a close friend to serve as an alternate drummer on the worship team since the youth leader was getting burned out. I was immediately welcomed as a part of the congregation. The appreciation of me serving part time was shown in the form of a card left on my snare drum by the worship arts pastor Matt. Well that was a year and a half ago and I still faithfully attend Life at least once a month, unlike my father who now attends Life as often as he can if he's not on the road. Pastor Paul is an amazing orator and the worship is very eclectic offering different genres of music such as folk, contemporary, rock, and gospel. The Kids Life program is awesome offering each member a card to properly check in/check out your infant or toddler giving me a piece of mine while I'm on stage. Life is conveniently located near the 215, so a 15-25 minute travel time from almost anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley is definitely possible. The new building is beautiful and the staff are ready and willing to serve. You'll be blessed and possibly make it you're new home.

  • Bible centered teaching. Sermons are about half topical, half verse by verse through books of the Bible. Worship music is excellent, as is the children's ministry.

  • I started attending Life 4 years ago when my husband, then boyfriend, invited me. I had not been active in any church for many years, although I was brought up in one. I was totally taken back when Pastor Paul walked around the room and introduced himself to people. I had never experienced that in all of my years of going to church. I loved the worship team and the fact that Pastor Paul spoke directly from the Bible. Everyone was also very friendly and accepting. About a month went by before I was able to attend again and guess what? Pastor Paul remembered my name! Not only did he remember my name, but he even referenced that it had been a few weeks and pointed out where we had sat a month prior. Incredible! Throughout the past 4 years my faith has grown tremendously. I am sure I would not be where I am today if it weren't for Life. Our kids love coming to church and I especially love attending MOPS. The church as a whole is absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for a down to earth, Bible based, friendly and accepting church, I encourage you to give Life a try. What's one Sunday going to hurt? But think of what you could gain! (As a side note: my husband and I now live about 40 minutes from the church and still make the drive, passing MANY churches along the way.)
