  I am from Florida and I Travel for work a lot. When I am on the road, I look for churches to attend on Sunday morning. Today I attended Sunday service at the First Baptist Church of Las Vegas. From the very first moment I entered the building, I noticed how friendly and welcoming the people were. I really enjoyed the service and felt at home. The music was fantastic with a special musical presentation by the song leader and his wife and their daughter. Today after the service, the congregation held their Thanksgiving meal with turkey and dressing and all the trimmings. The food was served by the young people and everyone really enjoyed eating and socializing together. Everyone made me feel like family and I felt totally blessed to have picked this church to attend today. I will be back when I am in town. Great church and great people!

  Pretty dead church. Their Bible study consisted of reading a lifeway magazine, rather than the Bible, and it ended about 6 minutes after church service started, which was not very convenient. Praise and worship music was fair, but there were way too many seniors there, and not enough younger adults, nor any type of diversity. The website says they are american baptist usa, but then I ask them and they say they are both that and southern baptist. That makes no sense whatsoever ! Northern and southern baptists have NEVER joined together. I would look elsewhere for a much better church !
