During my 4 years at Silverado High School, I attended early morning seminary at this Church building at 6 AM, before my 7:15 AM classes began. I was not the only one - over 100 other youth made the sacrifice to study the scriptures for an hour before school, Monday through Friday. And teachers from the community who receive no monetary compensation are there 5 days a week to teach seminary.
In a world of shifting views and values, I am grateful to be planted on the sure rock of Christ. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints truly is His Church.
And I extend to you the invitation already printed on the outside of every church building - "Visitor's Welcome."
As Jesus told His followers, "come and see." Come and see what the LDS Church is like. There is a special feeling there.Added June 05, 2017 by Jason Foote
